Cabbage Soup Diet

Well I have jumped on the band wagon and I am on my first day of the cabbage soup diet. The soup tastes good just like Patty said it does. I am looking to lose ten pounds. These are the same ten pounds that have been on me since Kaylee was born. It's about time that they are gone. If you are interested in the diet I'm sure Kelly won't mind if you check out her blog. Go to Alyssa's to find the link to Kelly's and then look at her blog in March. The theory is that I will burn off more calories then I take in. I do exercise everyday so it should work. I hope. I have it planned out too so that I will be done the day before my birthday so that on my birthday I can eat whatever I want in celebration. It would be a great present to myself to lose 10 pounds, especially since I am turning 30, which is really the new 20. I have heard that by the end of the seven days I will not want to ever see cabbage soup again. I guess we'll see what happens. Wish me luck!!

One Summer Day!!

Yesterday Kaylee and I put on shorts and a T-shirt for the first time this year. We went outside to help plant the garden and Kaylee put the potatoe seeds in the holes. We enjoyed an ice cream sandwich and had fun in the sun. Today it snowed. I guess summer is over.

Day 2 or so..

We poured the footings and pads. The cement truck was there at 830am but we didn't order enough. So I called for some more cement to be delivered but the pump truck couldn't wait around for it to be there. Geoff and his dad used a wheel barrell for the rest but it broke before they finished. Geoff had to go to the nearest town and buy another one so that they could finish. What should have taken an hour and a bit ended up lasting about 5. Crazy!

Kaylee is 16 months, 24lbs and 29 1/2 inches tall. She is completely off the soother and can drink from a straw. She loves to play outside and to run around and be goofy. She is such a good helper. She can set the table but everyone would have to sit at the same spot. She helps was the dishes which is a really wet mess. And she helps to put away her laundry.
