Our Family

This is the cake from the Casserole shower that Holly put on for me. She made the cake. It was a party where people could see Ariane and bring some meals to help us out. It was so much fun.

The Salter's got their chickens on Friday and Kaylee was here to help them. She showed us on Saturday and two of them were dead on the side. Kaylee thoughts, "they need batteries. They're not working." How cute.

Ariane at one month. She's 9lbs 13 ounces and 21 1/2 inches. She's more happy then usual except she has a cold right now is pretty sick. We love seeing her smile, which usually happens after she eats.

As for us, Geoff just started a new job at Canac Kitchens. He has his own office with a window and a door, well as soon as it is ready, and does the scheduling for all of the kitchens to be delivered and installed. It's a pretty sweet job and he likes it. We also got our mortgage for our house which is pretty exciting. We are happy that summer may be here soon, especially after all of the snow we got two weeks ago. I am doing well too and I am looking forward to exercising so I can lose 10 more pounds. Kaylee is a busy body. Her being two is really testing our patience but she is potty trained, 4th day of going on the potty and we are really happy about that. Otherwise our family of four is doing well and adjusting well.
