Ariane Salter

Ariane Salter was born on March 27 weighing in at 8lbs 3 ounces and 19 1/2 inches. I went into labour at 2am and they broke my water at 630am and she was born at 7am. Five hours was a blessing as compared to Kaylee at 9 hours. Kaylee loves her baby sister and holds her and helps all of the time. To see more pictures click on the Grandma Salter link.

This is Kaylee when she was born 7lbs 7 ounces. Ariane looks more like a Salter then a Maczuga and has lighter and less hair then Kaylee did.

37 weeks

Well, I spoke with my dad and he has promised not to say anything about the sex of the baby so here is a picture of me. It's not the best lighting but I'm sure it's enough to give him a good guess. I feel like Kaylee was always up in my ribs and this baby is always in my downstairs area, so I am going for a boy. Either way we will be happy with whatever arrives to our family. I am due on the 31st but we are thinking that this baby might make an early appearance. I am 1cm dilated and 50% effaced but I could be like that for awhile. I don't have another doctor's apt till the 17th. It is exciting though to know that things are going to be different in a little while, but also a bit scary.
Otherwise, we have been in our house for two weeks now and we almost have the upstairs done. Geoff is working full time which leaves us not much time to do stuff. I will be done painting the doors and trim probably on Tuesday and hopefully the rest of the stuff that Geoff needs to do will be done by the weekend. We are going out to celebrate our 3rd anniversary on Saturday even though it is not till the 26th. I would like to do it before the baby comes. Plus I need to find all of the baby clothes too this week so that I am ready. I am hoping to have all of our stuff done by the 17th and then I want to relax for a bit. My parents will be out sometime after the 24th and maybe the baby will wait that long to make an appearance. We still don't have any girl names and a couple possible boy names so any suggestions would be nice and if you want to take a guess on the sex let me know. The heart beat has been between 140 and 150 or so. But we will keep everyone updated on how it goes.
