Happy Anniversary to Us!!

Well it has been two years and we are still going strong. Tonight we are going out for supper, The Saw Mill, sounds romantic huh but we've heard that it is good food. Then we are going to see a movie, Premonition. Geoff has tomorrow off so we are going to the temple to remember the promises that we made to each other, a tradition that we are doing each year. Later in April we are going away for three days to a resort in Canmore called Banff Mountain Gate Lodge. We only have to pay for our food and gas to get there as we won some sort of free trip. We also have $100 spa credit that I plan on making full use of. Anyway, more details to come as we celebrate.

Have a great day!!

It's been a long time since I have updated the blog and it's just not the same without pictures. The basement is almost done, just a couple things left in the kitchen. I have learned how to put in knobs on the cabinets, door handles, door stops, the toilet paper holder, build a shelf for the bathroom and dap all of the baseboard. Today I plan on putting our computer desk back together. When it comes to building our own house I will be of much use. Not just because of these things but because of all of the other things too that I have learned. Plus we have just finished drafting the blue prints for our new house and we are trying to find a place that will make them official for less than $900. And that's just for one copy!!

The weather is beautiful this week and Kaylee and I have gone for many walks. She loves to see the dogs that are along the way to the mail and we went on the slide at the park near here and she loved that too. She is just getting over bronchitis and we are so happy to have our fun little girl back. Being sick was just rough on all of us. She has a couple more teeth and she is 14 months. We plan on getting her weighed and stuff soon so I will have more info then. The last two nights have been interesting as she wakes up for her bottle but won't go back into the crib without crying. The first night I ended up bring her into bed with me but last night that didn't work either so she slept on the floor. I hope that this doesn't last too long.

Well Kaylee's awake so time to go. Have a great day everyone!!
