Kaylee and Boots

Kaylee is now 2 years old, weighs 27lbs and is 32 and a half inches tall. She can count to ten by herself, sometimes she needs help with four and six. She is starting to put on her own clothes and soon we will try potty training. I just need a couple of days to devote to it. She is off of the bottle, mostly my fault that it has taken this long. And she is now speaking three or four word sentences. She likes to pull her sled outside in the snow and now that Geoff has the snowmobile working, we are able to have him pull us on the sled behind it. It is so much fun!

As for us and the house, things are coming along really well. We were hoping to paint this coming week but the drywallers won't be done till almost the end of the week and the painters can only come then on the 28th. We have picked out all of our colors and I think that it will look really nice. We decided to get painters in because they can do it all in one day, the upstairs painted and the downstairs just primed. Then the drywallers will do the knock down on the ceiling on the 29th. Then Geoff and I will lay the flooring, put the kitchen in, and the sinks and toilets during the rest of the week. We will work like mad to get it all done. Hopefully by then our appliances will come in. We ordered them through Geoff's uncle because he has a membership with Direct Buy and we got really nice appliances for a good price. We saved about $2200 compared to retail prices. The only problem is that it takes awhile to get in and we can't move without a fridge and a stove. So I am really hoping that they get here soon!!

Life will be a bit different too in the new home as we won't have a land line or the internet. Telus hasn't been in the subdivision yet and so I won't be on the computer much. Maybe once a week at the inlaws. You might have noticed that I took myself off of facebook. That's due to someone who put a profile picture of a naked man and woman. I don't even know who the guy is and why it would have shown up on that first page of updates but it's enough for me not to want to have that happen again. I'm happy with the blog and I like looking at other peoples blogs too knowing that it is safe. We will have a cell phone for at the house and I will update everyone with our new address and phone number once we move. It's pretty exciting to know that it will be very soon that we will have our own place again.

As for me, I am feeling really pregnant and finding it hard to sleep well at night. The baby is really active and wakes me up at night. Through Geoff's work benefits, I am able to get massages which is really nice. It is doubtful that this baby will have a name ready by the time he/she is born as we are unable to agree on any names. I feel like I need to meet the baby before I will be able to really know what his or her name will be. I have no desire to find out the sex before he/she is born and so I have not posted any pictures of myself showing my belly due to the fact that my dad would be able to figure it out pretty soon and I am afraid that he would be too eager to tell me. :) So we will all have to wait. If anyone has a name that they really like that they can't use because they are done having kids, please let me know. We need all of the help that we can get.

Happy Birthday Kaylee!!

Kaylee turns two tomorrow!!

She is our little princess.

We had a lot of balloons to celebrate because Kaylee loves balloons.

Kaylee had so much fun. She knew how to blow out her candles and so we did it over and over again.
