It's Been Two Weeks...

and our little Kaylee Rae continues to warm our hearts. Life is wonderful here at the Salter home. Thanks so much to everyone who has sent a post and for those who have helped us out. We appreciate everything and especially to my parents who kept the house clean for us, cooked meal and who took the day shift so that Geoff and I could recuperate from the night shift. They have gone home already but we are looking forward to March (9th to 14th) when we will be out in Winnipeg to visit my family and friends.

Some funny things that have happened so far are Kaylee throwing up on Geoff more than once already. His mom has informed us that Geoff used to throw up a lot and now he is getting paid back for that. Kaylee pooping her diaper and Geoff changing it just as another explosive poop comes out of her and all we here is oh crap!! Thanks for making us laugh Kaylee. And all of her funny faces and noises and constant farts (she gets that from her dad too) that keep us giggling. Geoff and I are once again brought closer in love as we have been blessed and entrusted with our wonderful Kaylee Rae.

So far in her two weeks of being on the outside she has toured West Edmonton Mall, been to Swiss Chalet twice with Grandpa and Grandma Maczuga, and gone to Calgary on a day trip 3 hours both ways. Pretty soon she will have her first airplane ride too. How exciting. Time to start another day, or did it already start at 3am....or 7am.....or 830?? I mean they really just all run together into one big day with a bunch of naps. And I think that it is time for another nap.

Why don't you put some pictures of Kaylee with Geoff's grandparents on the blog. Is this just a Maczuga site?

This is not just a Maczuga site. My parents were out for a week and a bit right after she was born. So I only have pictures of them so far since they live in Manitoba and won't be able to see her again until March. As soon as I have some pictures with Geoff's parents I will post them. I will also assume that whoever posted this comment and didn't leave their name is just asking me to put a picture on and is not upset by the fact that there are no pictures yet. Thanks.
