We have 10 days to move!

Our condo sold yesterday!! We are really excited to be able to continue on with our plans for our new home. Although we have to be out of here by the 27th. Should be interesting. Geoff is working 9-6pm everyday at Riverside Honda putting snowmobiles and quads together and fixing them and stuff. Which leaves me to be the one to get everything packed up and ready to go. Linda, do you have any advice for me, since you are the pro??

Our plan is to move in with Geoff's parents. We are finishing their basement into a one bedroom suite with living room and kitchen. The kitchen won't be done right away but we will eventually get that done too. So we will eat our meals with them. Then we have two pieces of land on hold till the end of the month which we are purchasing with the money that we have made on the sale of our home. The one piece we will build our home on and the other is an investment that we plan on selling in the future. We will be living north of Edmonton when the house is done in a really nice subdivision that has no homes in it yet. Our house will probably be the second to be build by the end of the year. We are country people and don't want to live in the city anymore. Plus we want our kids to have a yard to play in and I want a garden and my own house. It will be quite the endeavor but we are determined to make our dream come true.

There is a lot to get done in these ten days. I better get started....

Congratulations!! Moving once is crazy, moving twice is even crazier, but I know all about it and it does work!! It just makes you appreciate your new home that much more!!!
Good luck with the packing, don't get overwhelmed... one box at a time!!!

Congrats on selling your place so quickly. Hopefully you can call in a few favors and have some one to watch Kaylee so you can get some major packing in. Here is one hint stop by a beer or wine store and pick up some boxes with the dividers in them they make packing glasses very fast and no newspaper around the glasses to clean off when you unpack. Good Luck
